How to Play
Everything you need to know to become the king of memes
Basic Flow
Create or Join
One player creates the room and shares the 6-letter code with others. Other players join using that code. You need at least 4 players.
Meme Appears
Each round a random meme is shown. You have a few seconds to think of the best caption for that meme.
Write Your Caption
You can use one of the cards in your hand as inspiration, or write your own text from scratch using the wildcard. Be creative!
Voting
All captions are shown anonymously and each player votes for their favorite (you can't vote for your own). The most voted wins the round.
Game Modes
Dictator
One player is the "Judge" each round and decides the winning caption. The judge rotates so everyone gets their turn of power. Convince the dictator!
Classic
Accumulate points over a fixed number of rounds. Everyone votes and the most voted earn more points. Ideal for democratic games!
Special Features
Template Change
Don't like the meme? You can propose to change it. If the majority votes in favor, it changes to a new one. Each game has a limit of changes.
Card Discard
Once per game you can discard up to 2 cards from your hand and receive new ones. Use it wisely when you have cards that don't work for you.
Live Chat
Communicate with other players during the game. React to captions, celebrate victories or commiserate with the eliminated.
💡 Pro Tips
- •Know your audience: The humor that works depends on who votes.
- •The wildcard is powerful: Sometimes the best ideas aren't in the cards.
- •Observe the meme: The best captions reference details of the meme.
- •Timing: Sometimes the obvious wins, other times the absurd. Adapt your strategy.
